Our therapies take place in professionally equipped rooms, as well as in an inside riding hall and, of course, outside. In the afternoon we have group activities for children,  fascinating lectures for parents and caregivers, evening dance parties and barbecues for everyone to enjoy. In winter you can spend time with other children and their caregivers while warming up next to the fireplace. During our 14-day long rehabilitation camps your children will go to professional therapy 6 days a week, allowing you to rest and unwind on Sundays. Thanks to a nearby bus and train station, it’s very easy to visit us any time of the year.

Visit us- you're invited.

Speech therapy is a science which focuses on the development on clear and correct speech in the early stages of life and on its progress during later stages of life. Another important aim of it is correcting all kinds of speech defects.

A few specific fields of speech therapy’s research are:

- teaching patients proper eating and drinking skills
- the correct process of gaining and developing lingual skills
- prevention of incorrect enunciation and speech defects
- sources and causes of abnormal development of speech as
owell as their connection with disability
- correction of existing speech impairments
- alternative methods of communication

Hippotherapy

Hippotherapy - a form of psychomotor rehabilitation which uses a horse as a therapy tool. It is one of the forms of multi-profile rehabilitation, while interacting with the patient physically, sensory, mentally and socially. It is used in children, adolescents, and adults. Hippotherapy mainly helps people with physical disabilities, as well as sensory and mental disabilities. The beneficial health effects of contact with the horse were already known in ancient times; as a method of treatment, they emerged in modern medicine in the late 50s and early 60s, especially in neurology, orthopedics, and psychiatry. Hippotherapy is closely linked with other rehabilitation and therapeutic methods and takes great advantage of their achievements. The aim of the horse therapy (with elements of riding) is to restore the patient’s physical and mental health to the possible extent. Hippotherapy is one of the elements of rehabilitation and is carried out by a specialist as such, on behalf of and under the supervision of a physician. A Hippotherapist retrieves, provides security and acts as a guide in contact with the animal. The horses used in hippotherapy are carefully selected for the desired traits (special traits). They must be gentle, obedient, of suitable construction and age. One of the most popular breeds of horses used in Poland for hippotherapy are Hutsuls. In addition, the horse should be matched to the rider, for their size and rehabilitation needs.

Results of hippotherapy:
- correcting posture
- regulation of muscle tone
- contact with nature
- improving balance, coordination, spatial orientation, the body’s
0own scheme, a sense of rhythm
- stimulation and normalization of superficial sensation
- increased self-esteem

- decreased emotional disorders
- developing positive social contacts

Passing gait pattern is a unique purpose of hippotherapy. This way of conducting hippotherapy is indicated to children and young people walking in the wrong pattern as well as toddlers learning to walk and able to sit briefly on their own.

Autism
Another special feature of hippotherapy are opportunities to work with autistic children, because, as noted by Monty Roberts, autistic people and horses have many similarities in perception, response, and communication.

Reflexology

Speech Therapy

Foot reflexology is a diagnostic and therapeutic foot massage which restores the balance of the whole body. It is based on the belief that the foot is a microsystem, which means that the rate reflects the man on the basis of similarity. There are points (reflections) on the feet, corresponding to individual organs, body parts and functions. Therapists believe that putting pressure on these stimulates the energy flow in the body, improves blood circulation, reduces tension and benefits proper work of individual organs.

Reflexology uses only the touch of the therapist’s hand, which works in a strictly defined way for a strictly defined place on the foot (reflex zones). Putting pressure on the feet affects the diseased organs in the body and begins the process of their recovery. Reflexology affects the general vitality of the patient.

McCain can be used as diagnostics and as auxiliary therapy.

Using a reflexology foot massage can cure:

 - heart disease and circulatory system diseases
 - respiratory diseases
 - spine diseases
 - neurological diseases
 - rheumatic diseases
 - gynaecological diseases
 - kidney and bladder diseases
 - blood diseases
 - metabolic disorders
 - gastrointestinal diseases
 - eye disorders
 - skin diseases

Dry Needling

Dry needling is an innovative procedure involving the treatment of myofascial trigger points using acupuncture needles (usually with a thickness of 150-300 microns and lengths of 15-50mm). Myofascial trigger points (MTPs) may appear in the area of the belly muscle in the fascias, during the course of muscle fibers superficial and deep.MTPs are often overloading the musculoskeletal system, injuries, strains, long-term work static. A lot is also influenced by stress, emotional stress, metabolic problems, deficiency of vitamins and trace elements (especially vitamin B and magnesium). Trigger points can be divided into:
active, which are those that cause pain at rest enhancer during contraction and muscle tension
inactive, which are those which do not cause pain at rest, but at the thrust of the reflect of their presence.
The characteristic feature of trigger points is the fact that the pain can be felt in the remote location of sources and may be of paresthesia. It may also be accompanied by the reaction (muscle tremor, disappearing within a short distance from the place where it started), as a result of sliding fingers over a certain spot). Dry needling is used to locate the point of the drain, sink the needle in the location point and induce a reaction. Throughout the process, we try to reduce the maximum response for punching needle. This therapy is more effective the more accurately we locate the trigger point and precisely we will sink the needle. After removing the needle point, we can develop therapies using muscle-fascial. Dry needling seemingly resembles acupuncture treatment, but the only similarity is the needle that is used to puncture trigger points. In traditional acupuncture, we operate in order to improve the flow of energy in the energy channels by puncturing meridians. However, in the dry needling, our goal is the location of myofascial trigger points.

Massages

Classic Massage is the most popular massage, which can be therapeutic, relaxing, stimulating, etc.. depending on the form – intensity. The classical massage is a treatment that aims to improve the mental and physical condition of the patient. They are used in the prevention and treatment of many diseases in the field of orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology and internal medicine diseases.

Sports Massage is necessary in situations where the ill patient must make an effort, before they can rest, for example during a long and grueling rehabilitation. In these cases, massage can help them quickly recover.

Relaxing massage stimulates the muscles, skin and cardiovascular system, and also has a great effect on the nervous system - balances negative reactions to stress sent through the body, eliminates involuntary muscle tension, restores normal heart rhythm, blood circulation, and blood pressure, and even helps to fight insomnia. The phenomenon of human touch makes a subtle relaxing massage one of the therapeutic methods.

Sensory Integration

Sensory Integration is, in other words, processing of sensory stimulus. It means a process when the human nervous system takes information from receptors of all senses (hearing, sight, smell, touch, vestibular system, that detects movement, and proprioception – the feeling of the body), next processes and interprets it, to use in targeted and effective actions. A constant relationship can be observed between sensory information and motor response which is a reaction to a specific sensory situation.  The movement itself gives in turn sensory feeling again causing a process at a spiral principle. When a child is born, they have some inherited characteristics of the organism including the nervous system, which is a base to a  later functioning.  Its quality defines the level of sensory integration in the central nervous system.  During the development, the sensory integration processes should improve in a natural and automatic way in the result of typical childhood activities. In effect, there are efficient actions and appropriate reactions in response to a requirement of the society. Better functioning is conditioned by the efficiency of sensory integration processes. There may be people who have poor abilities of sensory processing which in turn means tangible functioning difficulties.

Hand Therapy

The hand’s high level of specialization makes it one of the most important factors in general functioning of the human body. What makes the arms and hands so special is the development of the cerebral cortex and a complicated nerve mechanism. That mechanism is what makes it possible for us to start a movement, control its duration, coordinate it with another action and allows us to end it when we want to. The part of the cerebral cortex in control of the entire upper limb (most of all the hand, thumb and fingers) is an incredibly large surface in comparison to other parts of the cerebral cortex. It makes us realize how hugely important and functional our hands really are.
Hand therapy is an excellent supplement to logopedic therapy, thanks to its strong neurophysiological base (the biological connection between speech development and movement of the fingers). Exercises are chosen by the therapist specifically for each and every child’s individual needs. The therapy is preceded by a quick diagnostic concentrated on the child’s level of disability.
Hand therapy’s goals are:
-making the hand’s movements easier and more fluent
-teaching the child concentration of mind and sight
-improving hand-eye coordination
-crossing the body midline

Biofeedback

The Centre runs modern Biofeedback therapy. Basic use of EEG biofeedback is to optimize brain function and recovery of lost functions caused by perinatal injuries, malformations, diseases and brain injuries (accidents):

    - ADD, ADHD
    - anorexia, bulimia
    - aggression, panic attacks, autism
